General Terms and Conditions for barkathouse.com

These general terms and conditions apply to every visit to and use of the websitebarkathouse.com, as well as to all offers, agreements and deliveries of services or products by Barkat House (hereinafter: 'the Company'). By using barkathouse.com you unconditionally accept these terms.

1. Intellectual property

A. All intellectual property rights relating to barkathouse.com, including but not limited to texts, images, graphic design, logos, video and audio material, software and databases, are vested exclusively in Barkat House or its licensors.
B. The user is not permitted to reproduce, publish, modify or otherwise use these materials without the prior written consent of Barkat House.
C. In the event of any infringement, Barkat House reserves the right to recover any damages suffered from the user.
 

2. Currency and accuracy

A. Barkat House devotes continuous care to the accuracy of the information onbarkathouse.com.
B. Despite this care, the Company cannot guarantee that the information is at all times complete, correct or up to date.
C. Barkat House accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of or reliance on information published on barkathouse.com.

3. Liability and hyperlinks

A. The information and any products offered on barkathouse.com are provided without any form of warranty. Barkat House shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage arising out of the use of barkathouse.com.
B. If and to the extent that any liability rests with Barkat House, such liability shall in all cases be limited to the amount covered by the Company's liability insurance, or to the invoice value of the relevant assignment.
C. barkathouse.com may contain
links to websites or services of third parties. Barkat House has no control over the content of such external websites and accepts no liability for their accuracy or availability.

4. Changes

A. Barkat House reserves the right to amend or supplement these terms at any time.
B. Amendments take effect at the announced moment. The most recent version is atall times available on barkathouse.com.
C. If the user does not wish to accept an amended version, the user must cease use of barkathouse.com.
 

5. Right of return and withdrawal

A. In accordance with applicable law, consumers have the right to dissolve a distance contract within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the product without giving reasons.
B. The withdrawal period commences on the day on which the consumer has takenphysical possession of the product.
C. The consumer exercises the right of withdrawal by sending an unambiguous statement to Barkat House within the period.
 

6. Complaints and disputes

A. Complaints must be submitted to Barkat House via contact@barkathouse.com within a reasonable period after the customer has identified the defect.
B. Complaints will be answered within fourteen (14) days. All agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

7. Force majeure

A. Barkat House is not obliged to perform any obligation if prevented from doing so as a result of force majeure, including: network disruptions, power outages, cyberattacks, fire, pandemics, war, strikes and government measures.
B. During the period of force majeure, the obligations of Barkat House shall be suspended.
These terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the district in which the Company has its registered office.
